Dating to 2,300 BC – Weneg was an Egyptian Deity tasked by Ra to Protect The Earth from ''The Great Chaos'' (commonly associated with The God Set). Weneg was also associated with regulating Ghosts and Spirits from harassing Humankind. As such, He was often featured on Coffin and Pyramid Texts as a for of Prayer of Protection for those who were making their ''trip'' to The Underworld.
