Although the Ceremonial Sword of Charles I is no longer in existence (lost or destroyed during The English Civil War - by Parliamentarian forces). This blade was given to him when he was installed as Duke of York (1605). The blade is 3 feet long and has a highly detailed engraved portrait of Charles on it's blade. It's inlays are pure gold. The grip/handle is rather plain. A rounded pommel caps the sword. How this blade was kept secret or where it was hidden is a mystery.
