 A purported ''Beast'' of Medieval Bestiary creation, it was said to have come from Egypt. The beast is a Hybrid being the body of a Lion and the head of a Hawk. They were said to have lived with the Ancient Egyptians thousands of years ago. They are found on Temple and Palace carvings. The Hieracosphinx was thought to be a Guardian of both.
