Unlike the standard issue German Staff Officer's Banner, used to identify German General Officers, The German Air Force (known as The Luftwaffe), used an entirely different type of Flag to identify it's General Officers. The Standard form of Flag used was a "full sized" 5x5 Color, that was a Quartered Field of 4 Triangles. The Upper Center wastage Black, the Lower Center was Red, and both Left and Right Sides, were White. Superimposed in the Center point of the Triangles was a Gold Eagle, clutching The NSDAP Swastika. This Flag was used from 1937 to 1945.
