In unofficial use from 1643 to 1660, The Loyalist Flag incorporated The St. George Cross Flag and The Cross of St. Andrews (side by side). Designed by The Earl of Nottingham, The Flag did not take hold as an official flag to represent England. The flag was seen used by Loyalist Forces during The English Civil War (especially Naval Services). It was seen up to The Restoration of The English Monarchy in 1660.
