Similar to a European Mace, The Quauhololli was an Aztec War Club used by both Elite and Melee Troops in battle. The handles were made of fire hardened Regional wood, and ranged from 3 to 4 feet in length. The top of the weapon was topped by either a wooden, stone (and later) copper ball. These ball tops were heavy and large. They were effective as clubbing weapons capable of severe blunt force trauma (and death). https://i.imgur.com/TpwGLxV.jpg
