A Romanian Demon, The Zemu are malevolent Creatures which are part Dragon (Reptilian) and Human. They kidnap Human Females for the purpose of marriage. They can have many hundreds of Mates. They promise great wealth (of which they have). A Medieval Tale states that only a Knight Errant can kill The Zemur. If he does, all the creatures wealth is his for the taking. However, he should not kill The Zemur in his Gold Vault. If The Zemur s blood should hit it, all the Gold will vanish with the death of The Zemur. The Zemur is used to illustrate greed and selflessness in Romanian Culture. It is linked to both The Ogre and Troll Legends throughout Europe.
