Another Navajo Native American Deity, ‘’Yeii’’ are in reality a classification of Spirit People, who are tasked with various forms of protection. They can be either ‘’Good’’ or ‘’Malevolent’’ – but never outwardly Evil. The Yeii were described as being both Male and Female, with sex not being related to Their overall functions. In most Rituals to honor The Yeii, a 9-Day and Night ceremony which involves copious amounts of corn alcohol, food and dancing. Yeii were invoked for Harvest, War, Fertility etc.
