Yaksha

In Southeast Asia, ''Yaksha'' are classed as a form of ''Nature Demon'' (or Spirit). They can be both Good or Evil (depending on Their origins and usage). Normally, Yakshas can be found in Icon (statuary) form, outside of various Temple and Shrines even today. Noted for Their brightly colored bodies and often fierce visage, Yakshas also carry ''Divine Weapons'' (such as Swords, Shield and Spear). Particularly Evil Yakshas are said to inhabit only Mountains, and often Ancient Travelers were advised to carry various Talismen to protect them from from Their wrath.
