''Yak''

In Thai Culture, a ''Yak'' was a Class of Supernatural Being, associated with a ''Female Giantess''. They were said to be a Race that existed ''before Man'', and had ''great power''. Typically, The Yak was portrayed as having ''Blue Skim'' and a ''Fierce Face''. A type of ''anti-Demon'', a Yak could be (and was) portrayed in Thai art and Literature as being Malevolent. The Yak still holds as a type of ''Temple Guardian'', whose ''Spirit'' guards important Thai Temples and Shrines from ''Evil''.
