Wolpertinger

 From Medieval Bavaria, The Wolpertinger was said to be the size of a Hare (or Rabbit) - with antlers, wings (and of course, fangs). Many link them (and their possible fantasy ) with The American Jackalope. The Wolpertinger stories were often told to young and inexperienced Hunters (on their first outings).
