In Ancient Roman Mythology – ‘’Viduus’’ was a ‘’Spirit’’ Deity associated with Death and the conversion of The Soul (immediately upon death), to a place of Judgment. It was important for Priests to invoke Viduus to make sure The Soul of The Deceased is not ‘’taken’’ by ‘’Evil Spirits’’. Conversely, Viduus ‘’closed The Body’’ off so it could not be possessed or re-animated by Demons.
