The Untunktahe is a Water Demon (Spirit) – said to plague Lakota Sioux Legend. They live in all water and dislike Man. The Untunktahe poisons water sources so neither Man nor animal can use it. The have no true form (hence said to be Spirit). They are constantly at War with The Thunder God Waukheon, who causes Rain to fall and clean away Untunktahe's poison.
