A truly terrifying Ancient Etruscan Underworld Demon, ‘’Tuchulcha’’ is another Deity of which very little is known. In fact, only (1) artistic ‘’rendering’’ exists and dates to the 4th Century BC in Central Italy. The Demon was quite feared and was thought to exact His ‘’anger’’ by unleashing many plagues and diseases upon Mankind. Tuchulcha was both masculine and feminine – and had a ‘’form’’ which was comprised of many (known) creatures. It was thought that ancient Etruscan Rulers invoked ‘’Him’’ as a form of protection in The Afterlife.
