In Japanese Mythology, The Tsukumogami is a Human made Tool or implement which had acquired a ''Kami'' or Spirit. These can be ''helpful'' (mostly) or ''harmful''. The Tusukumogami were (perhaps) a Personification method used by Japanese Writers, to give life to such tools, and use them to make various points in their ''Stories''. The use of The Tsukumogami can be traced as far back as the 10th Century AD in Japanese Mythology. It is still a common technique (even used in Modern Anime).
