1970s ''Trog'' actually is well known for making many ''Worst Made'' Horror Films in History. It is unsure as to just why Classic Hollywood Star Joan Crawford even took the Role (other than She liked to eat). Trog (a British Film) was underwritten by Warner Brothers and Seven Arts (both Studios of whom were pumping out many ''B'' and ''C'' Horror and Thriller Films at the time. Trog could have been better (but it wasn't) – so be warned!

A series of ancient Caves in England are explored, only to find a long thought extinct Troglodyte (Ancient Human-Primate) – although it is unclear if it was frozen or what. After being captured by The Army and taken to a Lab for study (enter Joan Crawford as a noted Anthropologist). Thoroughly enamored with Her ''living fossil'', She tried to establish some form of communication with our ''Caveman''. The process used is a mind reading machine, which allows the Scientists to ''see'' past thoughts of Trog (His new name). Trog was a Hunter (enter past footage of old Dinosaur Movies).

Locals fear The Trog and the unwanted publicity being brought to the small and quiet English Village. An abortive attack of The Lab to kill Trog, find Trog the victor. He kills His attackers and escapes into The World – completely confused with ''what'' He sees and experiences. When Trog takes a young Child hostage so He can escape back to His former Home (The Cave), He releases His hostage. However, when Doctor Joan tries to calm Trog down (Trog apparently has formed a psychic bond with Her), Trog reacts to a violent approach by a gun toting Army. You can guess what happens next. While the Trog costume was well meaning, it was still all too comical to be believed and looks very much like what it is. A skinny, short Actor wearing a Monkey Mask. (I warned you, didn't I?)
