In one of the few Cases of an ''actual Exorcism'' – being brought into Court as the result of a ''perceived Homicide'', The ''Tanacu Exorcism'' happened in Tanacu Monastery (Romania) in 2005. A local Girl (who was said to suffer from Mental and Emotional ailments by Medical professionals), entered the Monastery as a Novice. She quickly exhibited signs of ''strange behaviors'' during Mass and at various Prayers. The girl would ''laugh in a deep Male-like voice'' and was said to speak in '' Classical Latin'' (which was in common usage in 6th Century AD Rome!). The Church determined that the girl may be ''possessed'' by ''Demonic Forces'', and that ''These'' were trying to ''stop Her becoming a Vowed Nun''. It was determined that an Exorcism be performed. And while much of the ''witnessed Ritual'' was never recounted, those facts that were, sated that the girl was ''secured to Her Bed'' (to keep Her from hurting Herself and others). Further, that ''phenomenon'' did occur of an ''unnatural measure''. After The Exorcism was performed (which took several days of ''battle''), the girl was determined to be ''cured''.

The girl ''seemed well'', afterwards – but very quickly slipped into a Coma. She was taken to a local Hospital via Ambulance, and died enroute. The girl's Family brought charges against The Church. Local Police arrested The Priest and those attending Nuns who participated. Despite ''threats'' from The Catholic Church in Rome, The Group of Religious were sentenced to ''lengthy Prison terms''. However, subsequent Medical examinations from the girls body determined that the girl died of a ''massive jolt of Adrenaline'' (causing Heart Failure). The Paramedics were investigated and found that they did NOT administer any types of Drugs. The Religious were soon released after only serving a small portion of Prison time. The Case made International News.
