 From The Native American Micmac Tribe, is The Legend of Strong Wind. A Great Sky Spirit , his sled (or Chariot), is drawn by a Rainbow. His Bowstring is The Milky Way. When he travels over The Earth, great winds move through. It was said that Strong Wind married a Maiden whose face was badly burned. Having a good and kind heart, it didn't bother him. On learning that her Sisters were likewise disfigured, Strong Wind turned them into Aspen Trees. These trees are known for catching the slighting wind and move in response.
