Another North American mythic Creature, they were said to have lived in the New England Region of The United States. Reported to European Colonists by local Native American Tribes, The Gouger had strangely set legs on the side of it's body. This allowed it to traverse the mountains and hills of it's home. An unusual beast, The Gouger lays eggs and a normal litter consisted of 8 pups . It was also said that The Gouger can only travel in one direction (left and right). If one were to fall from a cliff or overhang, they could be captured (becoming confused as to their direction). The Gouger was said to be very dangerous, and was known to attack and eat humans. They were said to be related somehow to the fierce beast The Wampus Cat.
