The Owlman

Yet another Modern Cryptid, The Owlman was first reported around 1976 in and around the English Village of Mawnan, Cornwall. Linked to the American myth of The Mothman - Owlman has several different description. The first (and most frightful), is that of a 6 foot tall humanoid being, covered in black fur. The creatures head is the shape of a large Owl (complete with glowing red eyes). The Owlman features great bird (or sometimes described bat) wings. Said to be connected to a Medieval Church in the area (why is unclear), the creature flies away when it knows it has been seen (which is always at night). Owlman does not vocally communicate. The last sighting of this creature was in 1995.
