The Necklace of Harmonia

In ancient Greek Mythology, Harmonia was the product of the illicit affair between Aphrodite and Ares (Goddess and God). As a ''Demi-Goddess'', Harmonia would one day wed. Her ''Step-Father'', Hephaestus constructed a Necklace as a wedding gift. However, He curses the jewelry, stating that ''anyone who wore it would have terrible misfortune befall them''. And while it did not harm Harmonia, it resulted in bad fortune for those around Her. Later Greek Epics (stories), tell of Harmonia's Necklace being much sought after by Greek Heroes. It was said that if a Human woman wore it, they would be gifted with immortality – for as long as they never removed it!
