The Mystery of Flight 513

 Something extremely odd happened to Air Santiago Flight 513 in the year 1954. It took off with 88 Passenger and (4) Crewmen in September from Aachen, Germany. The Flight was tracked by numerous Countries Radar on it's way back to South America. It then suddenly and without reason vanished from Radar over The Atlantic Ocean. An Air and Surface search was conducted for several weeks. No wreckage or bodies were ever discovered. That is until (as the Tale goes), October of 1989. Air Traffic Control in Port Alegre, Brazil picked up an in-coming Passenger Airliner. Repeated requests for identification went without response. The ''Aircraft'' circled The Alegre Airport in ''normal approach''. It ''landed'' without incident. As a ''Security Breach'', Airport Police responded to the Tarmac to investigate. The Military was also advised. The first thing the Response Team noticed was that this Aircraft was not a Modern one. Although the Aircraft appeared to have just ''rolled out of The Factory'' it was obviously an ''Antique''. The Team also saw something that made even less sense. The Airline Logo was that of ''Santiago Airlines'', Further, the Craft Identification number was ''513''.

Such a Craft could not exist (especially when this particular one vanished without a trace over 30 years prior). They made entry. Upon doing so The Team were met with an amazing (and horrible sight). Every Passenger Seat was filled with skeletal remains! Clothing appeared rotted or missing. Moving to The Cockpit, they were greeted with the same sight. The ''Crew'' were still manning their Posts. The ''Captain'' was even still clutching The Wheel! It appeared that all instrumentation was functional. Switching to The Tower frequency, The Team could ''hear'' The Control Crew ''calling''. With the arrival of The Brazilian Military, The Plane was secreted away. To where was never made known. However, The Police Response Team was ''questioned'' by not only Brazilian Authorities, by US ones. All persons involved with the ''landing'' (even remotely) were told NEVER to mention the incident. What they had ''experienced'' was a simple ''psychological test'' and nothing more. Although time (and people who were not afraid to speak) would reveal some of the Event, it would not become ''Conspiracy Fodder'' until the late 1990s. Sounding more as a Sci-Fi Movie Treatment, many theorize that Flight 513 somehow ''flew into'' a Time Warp or Vortex. Unable to exit, the Plane simply ''flew'' for 30-years ''trapped'' in some form of time dilation. It is unclear IF the Passengers died immediately or starved to death. In ration, in 1991 another Brazilian Airliner ''disappeared'' from Radar for 10-minutes. Rescue Flights were sent to see if it had had a catastrophic in-flight event and crashed. It didn't. It ''re-appeared'' after 10-minutes, requesting landing vectors. When The Control Tower told The Flight it had vanished for 10-minutes, The Captain had no clue. He did state that just prior to His radio call for landing instructions He and His Co-Pilot ''saw'' a ''quick flash of white light''. They attributed this to any number of Airport Landing Lights. Or perhaps, they too came close to experiencing a ''dilation'' in time.

To date, no explanation by The Brazilian Government (other than a Mental Evaluation Test) was ever given. No clue to any piece of Flight 513 had ever been found. However, some have said that many of these components were taken by The US Federal Aviation Administration for ''study'' in the 1990s. Still many Skeptics say the entire ''story'' is a Hoax.
