A strange story that still has not been explained. Perhaps an odd joke but one worth a listen. It involves a simple Coca-Cola Soda Vending Machine, the kind found all over The World. This one was located in The Capitol Hill District of The City of Seattle, Washington State (US). It was first ''seen'' in 1990. Why does this warrant an Article Let's see.......

Placed in front of Locksmiths Store, He claims that it just ''appeared'' on day. When He went Home one night, The Machine was not there. When He returned in the morning it was. What was odd about The machine was that it appeared somewhat worn looking. Further, rather that having dispensing push buttons for Coke Products, only Yellow Buttons with the words ''Mystery Choice'' and a series of ''Question Marks were found. No matter, put .75 (USD) into The Machine and press a button. Any selection made will produce a cold can of soda. But here is the problem. Every can selected (each different and unknown until time of vending), is a ''Vintage Soda'' from the late 1970s thru the 1980s. The soda's are not spoiled and still have their carbonization. In other words, they are as ''fresh'' as the day they were made. Despite trying to see who refills The Machine, The Locksmith is never able to ''catch'' this ''Phantom Soda'' Restocker. This went on unchanged until 2018. The only minor change was that the price went up to $1.00 (USD) in support of a City tax to soft drinks (this was in January).

By June of that same year, The Locksmith came to work one morning and found The Machine gone. Only a piece of paper (from The Machine) which stated that ''He needs to find himself and take a shower''. The Machine even had it's own Facebook page it seems. Occasionally, pictures of The Machine are seen ''photo shopped'' in other locations of The World as if a ''World Traveler''. As I said it was a ''strange and somewhat amusing'' Tale....with a bit of unexplained mystery!
