The Jupiter Effect

In 1974, many believed that great damage – and even a possible ''Extinction Level Event'' would happen by 1982. This Event would be predicated by the alignment of all Planets in The Solar System, in a ''straight line'' opposite The Sun. This ''Energy'' so created by massive gravitational forces would be focused thru The Planet Jupiter, and be ''aimed'' at The Earth. The resulting ''force'', would cause great tidal influences which were thought to possibly overtake (flood) several major Continents. In addition, Earthquakes (on a level never before experienced), as well as other geological events which were seen to level The Planet as a whole. Known as The ''Jupiter Effect'', the subject of which was a widely sold and read Book (worldwide), caused a moderate panic as a result. But after 1982 ended without any such disasters, The ''Jupiter Effect'' became quickly forgotten by The World.
