The Honey Island Swamp Monster

 From Louisiana (US), comes the strange story of The Swamp Monster of Honey Island. Sightings started in 1963. Said to be humanoid in appearance, the creature is also said to be 7 feet tall with Gray hair and Yellow eyes. The creature also appears to have different types of organic matter growing out of it's hide (which is assumed to be a type of camouflage). It also has webbed feet and can swim. Only 1 old 8mm film exists of a reported encounter with the creature. The local legend tells of a Circus Train that derailed in the 1920s. Apes escaped and somehow evolved with the local reptilian life thus creating The Honey Island Monster.
