The ''Height 611'' Incident

This incident happened in 1986 in Primorsky Krai, Russia (formerly The Soviet Union). IT involved the purported crash of a UFO into Mount Izvestkovaya (known locally as Height 611 ). At 8 P.M. On the date in question a large Reddish Brown Ball was noticed by local Residents going out of the sky. It was said to be as large a half the size of The Moon in the sky (using unassisted human vision as a marker for size). The Object fell parallel to the ground (about 800 feet) and flew about 30 miles per hour. A flash was seen at the top of Height 611 and it was assumed the Object crashed into the mountain top. Local and Government Authorities were called. Fie was reported burning at the mountaintop for some 3 days. At this time, Scientists arrived and investigated the area. High levels of radiation were noted, as well as a large burnt area with similarly damaged trees (that appeared to have been broken and snapped as the result of some Object crashing into them). Further, thousands of small, perfectly circular lead balls were found throughout the crash site. The type of lead was purported to be unlike any other lead samples on Earth. The site was cleaned up and ignored. However, in the mid-1990s, a series of photographs were released. Said to have been taken by Scientists at the scene, they show what is apparently a Craft that crashed (and stuck) -directly into the Earth. The Russian Government denies this, citing that what was released prior was the truth and the photos were faked. (Or Were They? )
