Becoming one of the more popular "modern" Ghost evidence "film" of the 21st Century so far, The Hampton Court Ghost is still debated today. There are two definate "camps" of believers and skeptics. Whichever you are, the Case garnered International attention in 2003 when the story was released originally by The Chicago Star News. Hampton Court (located on The Thames River in London, England) - was the favorite Palace of Tudor King Henry VIII. Well preserved, it is a popular Tourist attraction. As one can well imagine, given King Henry's "personal history), Hampton Court has been the center of Ghost stories and "Bumps in The Night" for hundreds of years. On a quiet night in February in 2003, Palace Security Officers received internal intruder alarm activation from a Lower Floor set of Fire Doors. Crash Bar activated, they were locked at the time.

Upon arrival at the doors, Security found they locked and secured. This strange (but explainable) event had happened once before on the previous night. However, this time - when outside security cameras of the fire doors were checked by Security, they were chilled. Although the camera clip is less than 1 minute long, it clearly shows the doors "fly open" and what appears to be a "transparent Male figure dressed in Tudor Era clothing" - step to the threshold of the door! The "Figure" clearly has issues closing the somewhat "modern" doors ( closes them "He" does). Skeptics critical of the clip point to the very detailed clothing and "facial" features as proof of the clip being a hoax. Believers cite a very good security camera! The doors were reset with a more robust locking mechanism since - with no further late night "openings" reported. Guards still report the occasional "cold spot" in front of the doors.
