This strange case of Poltergeist Activity is from Dartmoor, Devon, England. Reported since 1910, a stretch of lonely road running thru a nearby Moor (Marsh Land), has been the site of many traffic accidents of a rather odd kind. Person have reported, while driving thru the area, especially at night, that a pair of ''hairy, claw-like hands'', will suddenly appear indie one's vehicle – gripping the steerage wheel. The ''Hands'' try and cause the vehicle to veer off the road and or crash. Several fatalities have been reported over the years. In most versions of the tales, after what appears to be a long period of ''fighting'' with ''The Hands'' for control of the wheel, they suddenly disappear – rendering full control back to the Driver. Initially, no local ''haunts'' or Legends are known for the cause of the phenomenon. An errant Demon or Witch, attempting to make it's ''presence'' know? Much is unclear. Police cite the general foggy and as a result of moisture, slick roads, it is easy to lose control (especially at high speeds). Still, what could be the real reason for The ''Hairy Hands of Dartmoor''?
