The Frogmen of Kentucky

The possible Urban Legend regarding The ''Frogmen of Kentucky'' (US), has several origins. Ancient Native Americans to The Region, state – ''They'' were a Race of ''Beings'' (Hybrid), which were a combination of ''amphibians and Humans''. Although no such trace of them can be found in Archaeological records. These ''creatures'' migrated from Ohio into The Northern portion of Kentucky (near Louisville), possibly following their ''food source''. It was around the late 1940s, that The ''Frogmen'' would again ''be seen''. Mining Companies began to report that their Crews would ''run into'' the strange creatures. No more than 4 feet in height, they ''resembled Frogs which were walking upright, as a Man would''. The Beings wore ''sporadic clothing, like skirts'' and in some reports – ''carried various tools and weapons, as if hunting''. In one ''story'', The Frogmen (a party of four), passed very close to several Mining Demolition Crews in the high Mountains. The creatures ''saw'' their Human observers and responded to each other in a series of ''clicks and croaks''. They quickly avoided contact with The Crews.. The Frogmen were reported later in the mid to late 1950s again by Hunters. Since the early 1960s though, The ''Kentucky Frogmen'' have either retreated farther into The Mountains or migrated yet again to another Region.
