The Fishman

 Fishman is another legend told of in Northern Spain (and goes back to 1650). The Fishman is reported to be a humanoid fish-like creature of incredible strength and size (6 to 8 feet). One was supposedly capture in the 1670s and even lived with the family of the Fisherman who snared it with his net. The creature can communicate somewhat. He worked as a Servant of the family and apparently did chores for them (even wearing human clothing). After 9 years of this lifestyle, Fishman was said to have learned the word Home . Feeling sorry for keeping him, the family took Fishman back to the Sea. He swan off never to be seen again. The story was well documented in the Village (even The Mayor attested to seeing The Fishman). Since that time however, there were no more sighting of The Fishman. It was speculated that although fairly treated Fishman warned his kind to avoid humans (I guess they listened to him).
