In Glasgow, Scotland - arounf the early 15th Century Ad - The Countryside was beset by a plague of sorts. This malady were The Border Reivers. as we have seen, these were Brigands (Bandits) who (often in pay of The Kingdom of England), raided, burned and created general misfortune for Families living along the (then) percieved Borders of Scotland (with England). A blight, the local Bishop wrote a ''prayer'' (a curse really), which was to be read everyday, within every Church within Scotland. Soon thereafter, anyone who was (or associated) with The Bandits came into great misfortune. The resulting ''curse'' travelled forward in time, making many smaller Villiages and Towns still ''suffer'' the Centuries long curse. Some of these were mostly economic woes (unemployment, etc).

In the early 21st Century, a local ''Pop Artist'' stated He ''came across'' a copy of the original 15th Century curse, and crafted a giant polished piece of granite (stone), into whic was cut the original Curse. His thought was (perhaps) to rid several Regions of the long running ''evil''. There is no clear cut proof that the curse ''removal'' worked or if the Reguons are still ''suffering'' from the long running ailment!
