The Cooper House Ghost Photograph

 This strange Case is often cited in the World of The Paranormal as an actual "Ghost Photograph". The 1959 story centers around The Cooper Family. Being "first time" home buyers, the young Family was quite proud of their accomplishment. Having spent all day moving into their West Dallas home, they wished to celebrate with a Family photo. Dad gathered up the Family in the kitchen. Using his Polaroid Land Camera, he snapped his photo. When developed, what he thought he had captured was NOT what he expected! In addition to his Family, Mr. Cooper "captured" The very clear image of a body "falling" (or perhaps "traveling thru" his kitchen ceiling thru the floor! Terrified, more strange occurrences began to happen to The Cooper Family. Doors and cabinets began to open and close on their own. In addition. "voices and footsteps" could be clearly heard through the house. Later research determined that the land the house had been built on, had been the scene of MANY lynchings of African-Americans in the 1880s. It took little time for The Cooper's to finally give up on home ownership, and move out. The photo has been examined many times over the last 50 years (as was the camera). To date, no evidence was found of trickery or camera manipulation.
