The Amy Stamatis Case

 Amy Stamatis was a 49-year old Nurse from Searcy, Arkansas (US) – at least up to November of 2006. Married happily and well liked at work, Amy simply jumped from Her 2-story Home on night and impacted onto the hard patio concrete below. She shattered Her back in 3 places and pierced both lung. Amazingly, Her arms and legs were not broken. Further, Amy has no recollection of the Event. ''Why did She do it?'' The proper question is really ''What Made Her Do it''. According to some (including Amy), ''Demons made Her do it''. Amy you see, was possessed. As stated, Amy was a Nurse who liked Her job. One Night in early 2006, Amy was taking a Patient to The Emergency Room, when according to Her – she ''blanked out''. She ''came to'' many hours later in another Section of the Hospital with no knowledge of what She had done or been. Patients and Staff stated Amy was wandering around ''growling in a deep, animalistic tone''. She sought Medical treatment. Diagnosed with a form of ''Mental Condition'' akin to Depression, Amy found that She could not work, constantly ''losing time'' and seemingly acting as if She was ''someone else'', even Multiple Personality Disorder was investigated (although nothing in Her past indicated such a ''break''). Then in November of 2006 0 ''something'' told Amy to sit on the window sill of Her Room – and fall out.

Amy survived Her fall (again having no knowledge of how and when it happened) – but was paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair. But even in this, Amy's ordeal was not yet finished. She continued to say that now – She ''saw Demons'' and that they were still ''commanding Her to kill Herself''. This led Amy to seek help from a Church. As soon as a local Minister ''saw Her'', He ''knew'' Amy was under ''demonic attack''. A Group from The Church conducted an ''Exorcism Prayer'' over Amy. The Prayer must have worked, because Amy stated after The Prayer, She felt a great ''weight lifted from Her Mind. She no longer ''saw or heard'' the supposed ''Demons'' which had nearly taken Her life. She still lives in the same House in Arkansas, today.
