The Ammons Haunting

 There are two distinct ''camps'' regarding this Case of extreme ''Paranormal Activity''. Believers and Skeptics. The Case involved The Ammons Family (A Single Mother with three young Children and a close Female Family Friend), who moved into a 2-level, 1930s Home in Gary, Indiana (US) in 2013. But within weeks of their move, The Family began to experience a plethora of ''Activities'' deemed ''Supernatural''. First, they noticed that in December of 2013, a massive swarm of flies began to appear only on the back porch. They searched underneath the porch for perhaps a dead animal or trash and found none. Odder still – being the Month of December, the life cycle of a common fly is non-existent. Then, The Family noticed ''moving objects, breaking objects and articles that disappeared (only to be found in odd locations). In general ''random'' examples of Paranormal Activity. In January of 2014 however, the Events would increase – dangerously.

The Family began to ''see'' a ''Large, Black Shadow Figure'' (a Male it seemed), wandering thru The House. Often, muddy boot prints could be seen as well. But it wasn't until the youngest Ammon Family Daughter had a friend sleep over, that the ''Activity'' became ''physical''. While sleeping upstairs, Mother checked on the girls. The friend was fast asleep, but Her Daughter was literally ''floating'' above Her Bed! When The Mother tried to ''pull Her down'' – a ''deep, animal-like voice'' said ''IT IS YOUR TURN TO DIE''. She called The Police. Gary-Hammond Indiana Police responded, and investigated what their records show as a ''disturbance'' Call. The Officers found nothing. But later, one of them (off the record it seems), stated He ''felt a presence'' in The Home. Finding nothing, they left.

Several days later, The Mother called The Police yet again. She stated that ''someone'' tried to ''strangle Her Daughter''. The responding Officers this time found ''evidence'' of ''marks on the girl's neck''. They followed procedures and turned the Case over to The Department of Children Services to investigate. According to The Ammons Family Mother, DPS deemed possible abuse (perhaps by either The Mother, Her Female Friend or Her Siblings. When talking to The Children, they did seem ''quite normal for a 4, 7 and 12 Year of Children their age. But whenever the Social Workers ''asked about The House'' – the Children would ''react violently'' and ''become quite physical'' with The Staff. According to a much later investigation by Paranormal Investigators, the 12 year old Boy even began to ''crawl up the wall'' – as if under the ''control of some Force''. DPS later claimed this Event did NOT happen and no official records exist. The Social Workers felt that perhaps The Children were ''coached'' with their responses. The Children were returned to their Mother. At Her ''wits end'', The Mother called a local Baptist Church for help. It is known that Church members conducted (3) known Exorcisms of not only The House by The Family. This seemed to work. But The Mother took o further chances. She and Her brood moved out of The House. They later stated that they have never again experienced any kind of ''Activity'' since.

The Family's ''story'' would be optioned by an Independent Horror Film Maker – as a ''documentary''. The film is credited as being strictly a ''mocukmentary'' which ''overblew'' what little facts there were (in fact, it was The Flmaker who created the name ''200 Demons House''). Research on ''The House'' shows it was built in the 1930s, and has had several Owners (none of whom ever reported ANYTHING out of the ordinary). Before the construction of The House, the Land never saw any ''massacres, battles or Native American Burial Grounds''. The vast majority of people feel that The Ammons Mother was ''making up'' the whole affair, as a means of hopefully generating finances. You Be The Judge........
