A Legend in Hellam Township, Pennsylvania (US) – ''The 7 Gates of Hell'' refer to a large Iron Gate off of The Trout Road. In the year 1900, it is said an Insane Asylum caught fire and Firefighters could not get thru The Gate. By the time they could, The Asylum burnt down with most patients being killed or severely burned. Consequently, a curse developed which involves (7) Gates (each progressively harder to get thru) – and each leading to the remains of The Asylum. IF a person can get thru all 7 Gate, the surviving Foundation to the old Asylum, will give way to The Entrance to Hell. However, many locals state that the entire ''story'' is nothing more than that. That in fact, a wealthy Business Owner used to have a Home at the end of Trout Road, and kept His property secured by The Gates. Strangely, most of the curious cannot even find The First Gate (often mistaking it for a neighboring property. Police are constantly responding to Trespass calls involving the ''Paranormal Curious''. But still, perhaps someone will find the real ''First Gate'' and investigate.....further!
