''Thaumas'' was an ancient Greek Mythos Entity – who was a ''Sea Deity''. The ''Son'' of Gaia and Pontus (Oceanids). The mythical Race of Sea Beings (from whom the Legend of Mermaids and mermen may have developed), Thaumas married Electra and produce several other well known Oceanids. Thaumas was considered a ''lessor'' Being to the Overlord – Poseidon.
