In Hungarian Mythos (Pre-Christian Era), a ''Taltos'' was a Person (Shaman), who had ''great Power'' over ''Nature and Man''. Akin to a ''Warlock'' in later European terms, The Taltos was sought out for everything from ''Healing'' to ''casting out Demons or Malevolent Spirits''. There were two different Class of Taltos. One Good (''Light'') and One Bad ''(Dark). They were often recruited by Tribal Kings and Queens as a means of conjuring protection for not only ''their Royal Persons'', but for their Peoples. Still found venerated in certain Pagan Beliefs from The Region, the majority of beliefs in Taltos were banished with the advent of Christianity around the 13th Century AD.
