Solomonari

 Said to be a Centuries old Romanian Magical Race, who controls Weather (in particular Rain and Thunder Storms), Solomonari also controls the malevolent Cloud Dragons . These are Beasts responsible for Lighting Strikes and the damage they can inflict. The Solomonari are said to be very tall (8-feet) and have Red Hair (a sign of good luck ). They wear all White clothing and prefer to live on high Mountains and Hills. It is said that they too can control the feared Moroi .

Some Human Children are born with a Cowl or thin Membrane. This is seen as a sign of Apprenticeship to The Solomonari. Often, they will show up at the House of the Parents and take the child away (never to be seen again). It was considered an Honor. Pagan in origin and as said very Malevolent, the advent of Christianity re-assessed The Solomonari as Evil Being, who should be shunned (as they were in league with The Devil). Culturally, some believe they are helpful to Man or a Curse (depending).
