A very much lessor known Knight of Arthurian Legend, Sir Brunor is nonetheless mentioned in Mallory's ''Le Morte'' Epic. His Father murdered by unknown assassins coupled with the loss of his Father's wealth – compelled Brunor to take his Father's battered shield and seek Knighthood from King Arthur at The Court of Camelot. Once there, his Father's shield is recognized and he is given several Quests. Brunor befriends Arthur's illegitimate Son Mordred (who was at Court conspiring to turn Arthur's Knights). Brunor travels with Mordred on his Quest. His tales tell of battles and losses. Eventually during a particularly savage siege of Castle Pendragon, reinforcements are brought from Camelot by Lancelot (who saves the day). Regardless, Brunor is made Knight for his valor and given The Castle as further reward. Linked with other ''heroic'' Knights of The Questing Tales (including The Grail Saga), nothing further is said of Sir Brunor. It is assumed that he too died during his role in trying to locate The Grail for Arthur.
