Shug Monkey

 From England, The Shug (or Shug Monkey depending on who is telling the tale), MAY be a legend that goes back to The Norse Raids of the 8th Century. Some place it more of an invention of the 1940s (and WWII). Said to be a large, shaggy furred black Canine with the head of an Ape , it haunts (and hunts) in local forests near Cambridgeshire. Used as a way to keep people inside (and possibly die to German Air Raids), The Shug Monkey may have helped saved lives this way. No reports of Shug have been made since the early 1950s.
