Of Hindu Mythological origins – The Sharabha was an ''extreme'' Hybrid. The Beast consisted of no less than (8) Legs, with the body of a Lion and wings of a Bird. Possible an adopted version of Europe's ''Griffin'', The Sharabha was said to be more stronger than a Lion and with one jump – could cover many miles of distance. Seen as a ''God'' in some Hindu Religious sub-sects, The Sharabha's ''image'' was worshiped as such. The Creature was also saif to be a form of ''transportation'' for The Great God Shiva.
