A Deity associated with Pre-Islamic Arabia of the 7th Century BC – ''Ruda'' was a Supreme God of The Moon. Worshiped by many early Desert Tribes, Ruda was also associated with ''Good and Bad'' Luck. Mostly, if not properly venerated – bad omens would befall a Tribe. Periods of Lunar Eclipse, were often seen as Ruda ''displeased'' with Man.
