‘’Said’’ to ‘’exist’’ on Mount Risemberg (Silesia) – The ‘’Ribesal’’ was said to be a ‘’benevolent’’ by sometimes ‘’Evil’’ Spirit, resembling a ‘’great Giant’’. Living on The Mountain, The Ribesal created great ‘’walls of fog and mist’’ to descend from ‘’His’’ Mountain into the surrounding Valleys (and hence Villages and Towns). When this Fog was present, often ‘’tempers’’ would flair among the populace (even criminal acts. Therefore, when this phenomenon happened, One needed to retreat to Church and pray for protection. The so called ‘’Fog’’ was also credited with ‘’protecting’’ Villages from invading armies in Centuries past. It was though by some, that Ribesal was ‘’prayed to’’ for help in defeating a numerically superior Force. In return for His ‘’talent’’ of confounding ''The Mind'', a Village had to withstand occasional ‘’bad acts’’. These acts (and the negative energy it caused) – served as ‘’food’’ for The Ribesal…..Or So It Was Said……….
