A Japanese Deity or Spirit, ''Oshira-Sama''. The bizarre looking Spirit is personified as a ''Blob-like, Humanoid'' related to possibly an Octopus. The Oshira-Sama had ''arm-like, appendages''. Associated with the color Red, He is a Household Spirit. Said to be used to protect a Woman's ''health'' – when He is so placed on a Family Altar, meat of any kind cannot be eaten within (until the ill Female is well).
