Known as "Ghost Balls" and a host of other titles, many Researchers have speculated as to the nature of Orbs. They are seldom seen by the "naked eye", the majority of true Orbs are seen on developed (processed film). Once thought to be "film defects", the signal the "presence" of certain Supernatural Entities.Their exact make-up is uncertain. Perhaps they are pure energy (or rather, that which is all that remains of the "corporeal" body). Others liken Orbs to be a "form" of travel for Entities, moving from one "plain of existence" to another. Orbs gave been seen as "bright White" or as many different spectrum colors. This my be why Orbs are not normally seen by "human" eyes, due to our inability to perceive certain light waves - unaided. Normally, locations deemed "haunted" have the highest concentration of Orbs. Cemeteries, Hospitals and Morgues - are all well known areas for Orb activity. On certain rare photographs of the phenomenon, even what appears to be "faces" or other "body parts" are readily recognized. The phenomenon is recorded as far back as 2,000 years and most Cultures have some "Orb" Myth. Just exactly what they are may never be truly known, but they are no less, a fascinating part of Paranormal study.
