''Olokun'' is an African Yoruba (and adopted by several others) Diety associated with Water and those sub-deities related to that Element. Olokun is unique in that the Deity is both Male and Female, as well as being used both in the singular and plural forms. Olokun is relative to The Greek God, Poseidon. Olokun was also transplanted into The Santerian Belief. In various celebratory gatherings, Aspirants will done outfits of complete White (which is the color relative to Olokuna).
