''Okpe''

The Okpe are spoken of in the Myths of Argentina and Chile, in South America. They were said to be very large creatures, that resembled a Giant Pig. Unlike their "Cousin", The Okpe were covered completely in Rock. This "hide" was impenetrable to all weapons. This covering extended to their belly as well. The Okpe were seen as Demons that would lure Children by using trucks such as Candles or Treats as bait. These would be placed on their backs. When the victim climbed up, The Okpe would run away in the Jungle and could consume their newly acquired meal. They did not attack Adults, however. And attentive Parents would warn their Children of the perils of wandering off into the Jungle and encountering The Okpe.
