A Deity of The Igbo Tribe of Northeast Africa, Ogbunabali is the personification of Death. As ''The God of Death'', He is portrayed in Myths and Legend as a ''fierce and terrifying'' Entity. To be ''seen'' means that One's death is imminent. He is especially fond of Criminals who commit ''unspeakable acts of violence'' – wishing to consume their Souls most of all. Elements of Ogbunabali were incorporated into various Folk Magic Beliefs of The Caribbean and Southern United States.
