Ogbunabali

 The Northeastern Nigerian (African) Igbo Tribe speak of a ''Death Deity'' called ''Ogbunabali''. An original ''Protector God'', He is tasked with bringing justice to those wronged and had never found redress. ''Ogbunabali'' roams the night in search of Criminals and other wrongdoers, seeking them with His Sword (which He uses to disembowel such transgressors. The most common image of Him is having the face of a Skull (Death), but otherwise Human in appearance. Many of Haitian and other Caribbean Voodu ''Loas'' (Lords), are related to Him ''in the beginning times''.
