''Octaman'' (1971)

A rival for the ''Worst Movie Ever Made'', the campy (well, actually really bad) ''Octaman'' was a 1971 joint Mexican-American Monster Movie. So bad in fact, that the film did develop a huge Cult fan base since. The ''film'' (which looks like it was shot on 16mm), deals with a small Mexican Village with a nearby Lake. After years of having harmful (and irradiated chemicals) dumped in it, the local aquatic life – of which Octopus appear to live there – begins to mutate. When several of them begin to crawl on the land and breath air, the find brings an American Scientific team to investigate. What they find is that one of the Octopus has mutated into a humanoid-octopus hybrid – dubbed Octaman. The creature attacks and kills several (even kidnapping a girl for mating purposes), before it is shot and killed. The silliness is the Actor who wore the obvious rubber Octaman suit with it's multiple flaying arms. Sure it's dumb, but Octaman is kinda fun to watch.
